Once upon a time, there lived a young prince of a thriving kingdom. He was a spoiled and mischievous young lad, always up to no-good troubling the servants and guests within the castle walls. He would play pranks on the maids and humiliate his father's subject. But one day, that mischief landed him in trouble.Well, bigger trouble than that he would normally face.
Deep within the heart of the castle lies a relic. An old relic which trapped a powerful being capable of plunging the world into utter chaos and destruction. The story surrounding this relic dates back to the founding of the kingdom, but such a tale is too long to tell to the young prince, whom would not stay in one place long enough to listen attentively to the old maids and knights who would usually warn him.
In the middle of plotting his next prank, he got himself lost within the castle corridors, walking aimlessly till he found a door. The relic, a tome bounded by age old wards, floated in the middle of the room. And like all kids of his age, anything they touch would break. Such logic could apply even for ancient wards.
The young prince's touch caused the wards to crack, then with a flash, shattered and dissipate leaving only the tome naked from it's chains. The tome flung open and a dark gleam shone from the tome. An arm burst from the book, then another. Soon the entity pulled itself from the tome, revealing his full form, but I should not disclaim such details, only that the being was beyond terrifying.
The prince was frozen in fear, he trembled before the being's presence. The being turned to him and smiled, sending chills cold enough to freeze a whole nation. He walked towards the prince and only said a few words.
"You have my gratitude, child."
The being disappeared before him, but it caused the whole castle to shake which resulted with a number of broken plates, and stumbled a few soldiers and servants unlucky enough to prepare for such a quake.
What felt like an eternity passed (which were only a few minutes), the castle servants found the young prince trembling with fear in the room. The prince was taken to his father, the King, where he was given two choices; To be sentenced to death for releasing the demon, which could have been preferable at the time, OR, be banished from the kingdom to go on a quest to find the demon and end him once and for all.
The young prince was only 12 at the time. It had been three years since his exile...
Ho there
Though you may not notice, I wrote something.. For your own good, read it.. if not... don't read.. if you want to, just read it.. even if you feel reluctant to do it, just read... even if you feel like it's a waste of time, just read.. even if you don't want to read, read it.. I insist, read it.. what will you gain, you will just have to read it to find out.. if your lost on what I had suggested earlier, it is of great importance that you read it.. if you do not know what "it" is, than continue reading it.. and while your reading it, if you are still reading this, then I have just wasted your time reading something pointless to begin with... but it shows that you are a dedicated reader (maybe) and I compliment you on that.. as a reward..
