Ho there

Though you may not notice, I wrote something.. For your own good, read it.. if not... don't read.. if you want to, just read it.. even if you feel reluctant to do it, just read... even if you feel like it's a waste of time, just read.. even if you don't want to read, read it.. I insist, read it.. what will you gain, you will just have to read it to find out.. if your lost on what I had suggested earlier, it is of great importance that you read it.. if you do not know what "it" is, than continue reading it.. and while your reading it, if you are still reading this, then I have just wasted your time reading something pointless to begin with... but it shows that you are a dedicated reader (maybe) and I compliment you on that.. as a reward..

WELCOME TO MY STORY!!!

....and to be clear, when i say my story, i meant by these works of fiction written by me.

p.s.
Comment it anyway you want, whether its a rant or a suggestion, I will read them and keep it in mind.. but mind you, I may not be around for it to happen so.... yeah... thanks...

A Shepard Reunion Chapter 1

Citadel, Shepard's Apartment
"No, Get lost" Grunt manned the front door, denying anyone from coming to Shepard's party. It wasn't much, but the simplicity of rejecting people was fun for the tanked-bred krogan. He grinned wickedly as each neighbor gets turned away, disappointed that they are unable to attend Shepard's legendary party, but too terrified to go against the krogan.

"How's it going over here?" Shepard asked. Shepard was curious on Grunt's slight giggle nearby the entrance, wondering whether the young krogan was laughing about his "incident" at he Presidium or just finding ways to past the time.

"It's going good", Grunt replied. He was having a lot fun just rejecting everyone who wanted to join the party.

"I can see that. Anyone interesting trying to get in"

"Not really" Grunt directed his attention back to the screen of a human and a dancing vorcha "Get lost!"

"You should let me decide that". A bit concern on Grunt's new hobby, Shepard wanted to see what was so interesting on denying anyone from coming in.

"Huh..Okay" Grunt reluctantly handed the next annoyance to Shepard, "But it's ugly out there"

Ok, bring out the next one, I doubt it'll be that bad, Shepard thought to himself. As soon as the next group appeared on the screen, Shepard was attacked by a shriek of excitement followed by the view of fangirls hoping to be noticed by the hero of the Citadel. The fangirls, which consist of asaris and humans, were just ecstatic at the sight of Commander Shepard.

Shepard turn to Grunt, "Grunt", he said "keep up the good work".

"Heh heh, will do" Grunt went back to rejecting the guest, "For the last time, NO!"
Shepard walked away and went about mingling with the rest of his crew, until he heard his name being called.

"John?" Shepard turn and saw the screen. A familiar face. A man with a scarred face appeared on the screen.

"There's no "John" here, get los-"

"Hold on, Grunt", Shepard was able to stop Grunt from turning down the man, "Let him in".

"Hmm" Grunt grumbled, feeling like his fun was spoiled.

"And what do you mean, "There's no John here"? Don't you know my name?"

"Never remembered you mentioning your name, Shepard" Grunt replied, "All I remembered from our first meeting was, 'I'm Commander Shepard'. No first name whatsoever." Shepard thought back to their first meeting and realized the numerous occasions on how he usually introduced himself. It was all formality, but at least someone should know his first name.

A moment passed, the door finally opened to a man, wearing the Alliance navy blue outfit, similar to Admiral Hackett's, and a face full of scars with a hint of cybernetics and a glowing red, left eye, while the right was crystal blue.

"John, it's been a while" said the man

"Jared! What are you doing here?"

"I came to see my old friend. It's a rare occasion to see the "Hero of the Citadel" on shore leave"

"I see" Shepard then realized something that was slightly amiss from the old friend. "You're an Admiral". It was not a question and Jared could also tell from the tone. Shepard was surprised for a moment, then quickly asserted himself back to the 'old friend' demeanor.

"At ease, John. Today is all about catching up, not reporting to the higher ups" Jared reassured. He knew full well how Shepard treated his higher-ups with respect. Well, only those who deserve the respect.

"You haven't changed a bit, Jared, especially the cybernetics" Shepard smiled. No matter the rank, the man standing before was still the same man who helped him get through the hard times after Akuze.

"Heh, a wound that let's me remember my greatest achievement...as well as my greatest fault" Jared reminisced, "But I hear you had it worse. Didn't bother calling us after your revival?"

Shepard winced at Jared's last remark. It's been years since the last time they met. He remembered when he said goodbye to Jared and another friend of his at the docks before his "death" from the Collecters two years back. He never contacted his friends after Cerberus revived him.

"I think you know about "that" from the reports"

"I did, but face-to-face interaction sounds more convincing than what I've read on paper""

"Ahem". The conversation was interrupted by Grunt's impatient grumble, "Is he coming inside or can I kick him out?"

"I would like to see you try, krogan" Jared grinned. He looked at Grunt in the eyes, showing his lack of fear towards the tank-bred and actually hoping for a fight. Gruntthought the same.

"Right, sorry about that" Shepard said, trying to avert any sort of confrontation at his party. he looked at Jared "Come on in"

"About time" Jared responded.

A Shepard Reunion Chapter 2

Samantha Traynor, Communication Specialist and professional bartender (on the side), strides her way to the bar to get a drink after dancing off her energy. As she made her way, she was slightly overwhelmed by the presence of the group sitting nearby the bar. A trio of the greatest warriors from their respective race sat comfortably on the sofas near the bar, exchanging stories of past missions and best kills. The group noticed Traynor heading to the bar, setting herself behind the counter.

"Hey Traynor" Zaeed called, "Think you can mix me a drink?". Wrex grinned at the veteran's request, knowing exactly what the man was thinking about. What Zaeed and Wrex had in common (among other things) were the fact that they had an eye for people who can truly make a drink. After years in the mercenary business, the constant visits to the bar, whether to gather information or just there for a drink, was a past-time for these two veteran.

Traynor eyed the two mercs. A grin paint her face and her posture changed; transforming shy, intellectual comm specialist Traynor into Sam the Bartender. She crouched down, disappearing behind the counter and appearing with a small cloth and two glass cup, which she wiped briefly before setting it on the counter.  "What's your poison?" she said.

Zaeed smirked at the comm specialist's sudden change of attitude, "Surprise me". This had always been Zaeed's mini test on truly distinguishing the pros from those goddamn posers who only know how to pour, but never to serve.

"HAHA, I like the way you think, Massani" Wrex exclaimed, "Make that two" the Krogan battle-master raised his hand, holding out two of his three reptilian-like fingers to his potentially favorite bartender.

At the same time, the two Shepards walk towards the bar, where they met Zaeed, Javik, and Wrex sitting around the coffee table awaiting a glass of Traynor's mix and Traynor preparing the said drinks behind the counter, showing off her bar-tending skills which Shepard had no knowledge she had.

"How about some for us as well, Sam" Jared said

The unfamiliar voice and the battle-worn face enforced a sense of hostility among the group as they could tell a person from their own kind. Everyone looked at Jared for a moment, but one suddenly recognized the Admiral and stopped mixing the drinks.

Who the hell are you?" Zaeed asked. Jared's demeanor could outshine Zaeed's own scarred face. It was even worst than Garrus' scares. Jared's face looked like it could peel off any moment.

"Admiral Shepard, Sir!" Traynor saluted to the Admiral, whether out of fear or respect or both, she did so instinctively. The two Shepard who stood before her are legends in their own respect and feared by through their reputation, especially the one beside her CO.

"This primitive appears to be another Shepard" Javik stated. The Prothean's statement caught the two merc's attention, interested in this "other" Shepard. "A brother. Not of blood, but bond".

"At ease, Sam" Jared said, "I'm just here to meet with my old friend" he gestured to Shepard. He then turned to the group of exceptional warriors, not flinching a bit at the hostility they were releasing. "You must be the Prothean I heard a lot about." He glanced at Javik. "Admiral Jared Shepard, Alliance navy" Jared gave the group the widest smile he could afford, except it made him look even more menacing than his regular smile. The smile sent shivers down everyone's spine. "As the prothean said, no relations to the commander".

"If you were with Shepard, you gotta have some interesting stories" Wrex said. There is no hiding the slight gleam of excitement to meet a person that the commander deemed as 'brother'.

Jared let out a grin, "Ever heard of Torfan?"

Torfan. It was as if the word itself echoed throughout the apartment. Everyone heard of the Torfan incident from a few years back, even Javik was slightly impressed from the story of the ruthless human soldier who sent most of his unit to their deaths just to end up murdering the batarians who surrendered during the mission. His name was known and he became a symbol brutality, showing the extent of what humans are capable of.

"You're the goddamn soldier who killed my target?" Zaeed started.

"Zaeed Massani, I presume" Jared replied ,"That's right. I am the soldier who took down those batarian slavers at their own base of operation".

"I was paid a lot of credits to murder that bastard. Well, I still got paid, but there was no satisfaction from a half-ass contract"

"Are you related to a one Jane Shepard, Admiral?", Javik asked, a bit intrigued by the Admiral's past.

"Now, how the hell do you know about Jane, prothean?"

"I "read" the commander upon our first meeting. He thinks rather highly of the you two"

"Heh, I bet he does. Fortunately, you'll get to meet her soon" Jared looked at Shepard for a reaction on his latest news and he got what he wanted.

"Jane is coming!?", it was obvious that the commander was excited by the news.

"Yeah, she'll be coming a bit late. She's meeting with the councilors right now". "And Hannah sends her regards, by the way" Jared added.

Shepard looked Jared, idled for a moment, then it hit back to him. Hannah Shepard, Jane's mom. He remembered Hackett telling him that Hannah was boarding at SSV Kilimanjaro, the biggest Alliance dreadnought. That means she will be there at the thick of the war. With all that's happened, he should contact her soon. She was as close to as family, including Jared and Jane, outside the Normandy crew.

Jane is meeting the councilors?" Shepard gave Jared a confused look, bringing back the topic to his previous question.

"Ah, you didn't hear. Jane was appointed as the new Councilor for the human"

"When did this happen?"

"After Udina's treason, Hackett recommended Jane's name as the replacement to fill the Councilor seat. As it is, humanity's reputation isn't going so great. Lot's of species want the humans out of the council or leave them behind to handle the Reapers on our own. Hackett suggested that having a replacement will ensure that humanity can still stand up for itself and inspire other species that the discrimination against humanity will not benefit to anyone. Of course, the other counilors were a bit reluctant at first; appointing a new councilor while the wound is still fresh. And not to mention the war closing in. But Jane's achievements speaks for itself. Her services to the Alliance and natural-born leadership made her a model representative of the human species". "Besides, being the Admiral's daughter sort of helped"

"Damn" Shepard was left almost speechless. The idea never crossed his mind. Jane. THE Jane Shepard. The one who repelled an attack from batarian slavers single-handed back on Elysium. The star of Terra. "How did Jane react to this"

The two made their way to the bar and sat down on the stools placed at one corner of the counter at Traynor's left. Traynor placed two glass in front of them and poured the mix she was working on. "A Samantha Traynor Original, boys"

"Thanks, Traynor" Shepard said, eyeing the drink for what seems to be glowing with luminescent green.

"My pleasure, Commander"

"Jeez, John, do your people only address you by family names or rank? Where's the kinship, man?" Jared started. Shepard glared at Jared, annoyed by his friend's comment.

"Shut up, Red, or I'll kick your ass," Shepard finally said, addressing his friend by Jared's old nickname. The attitude

"Now there's the John I know and love" Jared mocked "Right back at ya, Blue"

She also placed another set of glass filled with her special mix on the empty seats beside the two Shepards. Zaeed and Wrex joined the two.

"Let me tell you, John. You have never seen Jane so bent out on refusing anything since that one time during the N7 program, when Lennon tried to tempt Jane to sleep with him for a promotion from N4 to N5.

"You're joking, right?" "Because as I recall, Jane whooped that bastard, leaving him crippled for months, unable to over see our program -"

"-and he was replaced by Anderson. Well, this time, she threatened Hackett to find someone else to replace Udina" "If it was someone else, Hackett would had that person thrown in the cell to rot for insubordination, but this was Commodore Jane Shepard. Jane wouldn't have taken the job if she knew what was at stake"

Shepard was shocked. He knew how much Jane hated politicians, more so on playing as one. And he would never had imagined Jane threatening the Fleet Admiral on anything. She respected rank, as she was taught from her spacer days.

A Coward's Handbook

Spies are the biggest cowards. Lets forget those exaggerated, fake hollywood superficial "agents" who go around behind enemy line, infiltrating the most secured headquarters of the so called "EVIL MASTERMIND" just to blow it up, retrieve data and get the girl at the end. Although I said this, not everyone can be spies. It takes a certain sets of skills and tact that needs to be honed after years on the job. Being a spy is hard. But a coward, that's something inborn.
We were all born to be cowards. To be afraid and run from the unknown. Bravery is just cowardly masked in ignorance and a pinch of foolishness who runs away from being part of the norm and ventures on to the unknown. Sounds contradictory, but what I am trying to say is that being a coward is, well, nature. Consider cowardliness as a blessing. Being a coward does not only mean being afraid of everything and running away, it is an instinct to foretell any danger that lurks on your path and the way to avoid danger to live another day. It may take guts to face danger, but avoiding danger involves tact and understanding. Being a coward makes you think more than you realize, trying out all contingency plan to get out of the situation, because danger pressures a man on how to deal with the situation. Will you hide or face forward? Most people would think of these options. But not a Spy.
I go back to the beginning of this topic, which reasons why spies are the biggest cowards. They go "behind" the scenes, meaning they hide from the enemy. They infiltrate and destroys the enemy without notice, meaning they pretty much low-blow the enemy when the least expected. At the end of all that, spies run away from their enemies. Forget knowing the name or face of the one that destroyed what you worked for, a spy will leave nothing but their mark of succession of destroying your plans and leaving you angry at a phantom. These are what spies are. The biggest cowards of them all.

The Loaf

(warning, the following text is totally fiction...but in the off chance that the story is true... Then know that I died a hero)

Joe and Ray entered Pavilion, where they were greeted by promoters of some unknown perfume company. Ignoring the young man desperately trying to get the two's attention, they made 2 right turns and arrived at their destination. "The Loaf?"' Ray exclaims, "What are we doing here Joe?"
"Gathering information" Joe responded. "In truth, the Loaf is a front for another operation."
"What do you mean?"
"This is where the Malysian Assassin Guild is set."

Monsters..(Prologue)

Heroes are everywhere. Not all of them wear a mask or some flashy costume to show who they are. They come in a form of uniform. I'm not just talking about the police. Government officials, scientist, doctors, engineers, even the janitors. As ridiculous as it sounds, these people are heroes of society who work to and benefit civilization. But corruption does not go unnoticed. They dwell inside each and everyone of these heroes and it manifest them to something else. Most people would refer these corrupted as "the bad guys", but others refer to them as "MONSTERS". They wouldn't know the first thing about a monster. Monsters are a whole different entity. They take in a form of human, driven by a mad goal and bestowed with powers that overcome mere human capability. Monsters aren't heroes, nor are they villains. So what separates them from the corrupted people referred to as "Monsters"? It is simply their resolve. My name is Jack Hollows and I am A MONSTER.

Fairly Odd Story - The Foolish Prince

The former Knight-Commander slowly breaths in, trying to calm herself down before meeting the king for her congratulatory medal for not only defending against the rebel's attack, but as well as overtaking the rebel's base, single-handed. This achievement also earned her a position in one of the King's most respected knights corps, The 12 Guardsmen. It is 13 now, the knight said to herself. She exhales, straightens her stance and entered the castle.

When she entered, she was greeted by a tall thin man wearing a classy suit. Probably the butler, she thought.

"That is not that far of from the truth, Ms.Knight-Commander", said the man, "Oh, pardon me, Ms.Former Knight-Commander.". She knew her face was showing what she's thinking, but the knight thought that he was reading her mind, because the next thing he said was,

"I did not read you're mind, Madam Knight, your face is just easy to read". The man, Einriche, introduced himself as the steward to the king. "Unfortunately the King is away at the moment, attending the second prince's wedding." Einriche explains while they walked towards the throne room. "But His majesty's eldest son, Prince Orpheus, is present and filling in the king's role while King Odin is away".

As they approached the throne room, they heard the tender sounds of a lute being played. They look around and found that the sound came from the throne room. Einriche quickly enters the room to uncover who was playing the melody.

"PRINCE ORPHEUS!" he shouted, "Please sit properly on the throne, it is rude to sit at such a ill-mannered way!".

"Calm yourself, my good man. Father is away, so as such I am the current King of Talia and as King, I can do what ever I want", The prince grinned.

"Your Highness, that kind of logic would not work anywhere in this kingdom. You know that better than everyone!".

"Nevertheless, you shouldn't keep our guest waiting" Einriche looked behind him and saw the knight standing there, witnessing the scuffle between the two. "This is the one who I've been hearing about?" Orpheus began, "The one knight who took defended and overtook an entire platoon of rebels and their base, single-handed?"

"Yes, your highness" Einrich confirmed.

Orpheus gazed at the knight, "She is quite easy on the eyes"

The knight flinched at Prince Orpheus' remark, but tries to keep her stance cool, "51st Division, Knight-Commander Eurydice Telos Le Royaume."

"Ah, you are from my brother's province. It is such a shame that I could not be at his wedding, the poor man could use his a big brother's blessings, but then again, that is what father is there for." Orpheus look at Einriche and signaled him to get him the medal. Einriche signaled an attendant to go fetch the it. She came back and handed over to Einriche, which in turn, graciously passes it to Orpheus. Orpheus got up and walked towards Eurydice, who is now kneeling down.

"Rise, Knight-Commander Eurydice Telos, and accept your medal" Eurydice stood up and accepted the medal. "Now that that is done, it is time for the initiation!", Orpheus continued. "Huh?" Orpheus quickly leaned his head towards Eurydice's. Eurydice was too late to react to Orpheus' move, which resulted with Orpheus' lips making contact with hers.

The knight instinctively pushed away and wipe her lips. "YOU FOOL! PERVERT!", she cursed.

"Ha! Fool, is it? Then a fool I am" Orpheus said joyously. "Let me officially introduce myself, I am the Leader of the 12..no..13 Guardsmen and the FOOLISH Prince, Orpheus Artemus Castor!" "Welcome to the corps, my dear Eurydice".

Fairly Odd Story - Doug the Sweeper

The Ceremony began. Everyone in the kingdom crowded at the palace for the coronation of King Orpheus Artemus Castor, eldest son to the late King Odin, who passed away recently in his sleep. Orpheus' younger brothers stood beside him. On the left, the ever elegant Duke Oberon Sith Castor of Le Royaume and his wife Titania, who smiled proudly at his older brother. On the right, the young Prince Orthrus Chernobog Castor, who’s never-changing glare remains, even in front of his two dear brothers. The three brothers, finally seen together since the wake of the late king, was a sight as rare Prince Orthrus’ smile. And the ceremony itself was so perfect; it’s as if nothing can go wrong. And nothing will. For there, deep beneath the city hall, in the sewers of the kingdom, the young Sweeper exterminates those that dare cause distraught and pandemonium to the kingdom. Bodies of a rebellion corps laid there. All killed, but the blood still fresh. Standing among the trails of corpse is the keeper of peace to the kingdom of Talia, although he himself wouldn’t call it keeping the peace; more on the lines of taking out the undesirables that distraught this kingdom’s routine. His name is Doug Connors, and he is a Sweeper.
